Republican League News Article | |  | Monday, November 27th, 2000: Nuts, Generals Make Deal The general manager of the Tennessee Nuts has signed off on a trade for Washington's 32-year old starting pitcher Jorge Vega. To complete the deal, the Nuts will send 26-year old second baseman Albert Stoltz to the Generals.
In his career Stoltz is hitting .317 with a total of 37 home runs.
Reviewing his career stats, Vega has worked 862.1 innings with 591 strikeouts en route to a 47-66 record. The 32-year-old also has a 4.75 ERA. | |
