Monday, November 27th, 2000: Nuts, Generals Make Deal
The general manager of the Tennessee Nuts has signed off on a trade for Washington's 32-year old starting pitcher Jorge Vega. To complete the deal, the Nuts will send 26-year old second baseman Albert Stoltz to the Generals.

In his career Stoltz is hitting .317 with a total of 37 home runs.

Reviewing his career stats, Vega has worked 862.1 innings with 591 strikeouts en route to a 47-66 record. The 32-year-old also has a 4.75 ERA.

Wednesday, November 1st, 2000: ML Announces #1 Batter Award
2000 was a very good year for Tennessee Nuts first baseman Terry Robinson, this year's Metropolitan League Most Outstanding Hitter Award recipient.

Robinson had a marvelous season, hitting .318 with a .369 on-base percentage. He totaled 198 hits, 36 doubles, 2 triples, 38 home runs, 122 RBIs and scored 110 runs.

Thursday, September 28th, 2000: Travis Fashions Shutout Against Tennessee
At Capitol Field today Tennessee dropped a 2-0 decision to Jim Travis and the North Carolina Aeros. The Nuts offered little resistance to Travis, who stopped them on 4 hits, fanned 5, and walked 2.
